I've been amazed that I live in a time where 3D printing is a thing! I have been following the technology and reviewing plans on thingiverse since I've heard about this technology. My husband showed me this pen that prints in 3D when the project was launched and I saw it at MOMA so I was excited to receive a tryazon opportunity to test drive it.
I gathered some friends, both creative and non-creative to help play with this. Set up was easy; plug in and 90 seconds later you are ready insert the filament and draw! It takes a little practice to get it moving and flowing to your liking but once you do it's incredibly addicting.
For inspiration we gathered print outs of black and white basic images we traced over and added our own twist. The 3Doodler site has several great ideas and images to print. There's also videos which help!
